Testimonials

"Dear Kay:
Initially, we were thrilled with the art work that you completed for us a couple of months ago. The whole process was amazing from the envisioning to the hanging “ceremony.” The way that you incorporated memories from our lives like the old barns of our youth, the streams that we both enjoyed, and the mossy trees and field flowers typical of our current home make the scene one that intrigues us every time that we pass it. Now, as time goes by and friends and family recognize the beauty and elements in the scene that they too identify with, our fondness for the work deepens even more. Napavine folks recognize the barn, old friends comment on the way we used to play in the creek, and everyone knows that irises are my wife’s favorite flower. They love the special treatment that you gave to the sky, mottled with pinks and blues which reflect our most beautiful sunsets. They even recognize that it reflects the colors in the room, a subtle plus. Only a custom piece could please us like the beautiful addition that you made to our home. We hope for another joint venture in years to come." Jeri and Scott
"Hi Kay, I love my painting and it is often the last thing I see at night and the first in the morning light... I enjoyed meeting you, too, and appreciate what you do! Cathryn" (who purchased a painting at Portland's Art in the Pearl Festival)
“Absolutely awesome!!!!! Your paintings of the forest in Oregon let me feel the first rays of the sun, hear the sounds of the waves of the nearby ocean, smell the salt in the air and listen to the songs of the morning birds.......You are a Magician, Kay!"
“I love these Kay. Looking at your work, I can feel the forest.”
“Some day, when I'm rich and famous, I'll buy one of these masterpieces! Incredible Kay!”
“(“Cathedral” is ) My favorite!!!! So beautiful. When Madeline first asked me what my favorite color is, I said the color of light through the trees. You capture that feeling!”
“Oh…my…very…goodness. This is stunning! (“Beginnings”)
“(“Beginnings”) Like a waterfall of light! Beautiful!”
“Kay, your talent just keeps revealing itself more and more! I know you put in the work...but you make it look effortless. Bravo!”
“Knew your art was special the first time I saw one, and I smile each time I pass my painting.”
“Look at this, I'm in awe. I have no words, if this is beautiful on the email, can't wait until we see it in person. She is amazing!”
“Looking through you website was like being at your lovely studio again, admiring the beauty of your gorgeous Arab in her setting, and looking again and again at the radiant pastels on your gallery walls."
“I LOVE this series!! It looks spectacular. I also like the cohesiveness of the paintings. All distinctive, but certainly thematically and color scheme related.”
“How beautiful! Only a master can create in public. Congratulations on winning an award at the Lake Fair Show.”
